ILC
Martin, Kayoko and
Kye's going away party.
Because I'm a cheap bastard and didn't want to waste my batteries on
"flash photography" some of the pictures didn't come out as well as I had hoped. Some
of them are blurry but they have a cool effect so I put them in.
(Most of them were blurry but I had to have something on the site.)

|
Martin,
I
think that I speak for all of us when I say you are not allowed to
leave! How could you just leave us like this? You pig! You
dog! How are we supposed to cope now that your going, sob....
Where were we in your plans? Where...?

Kye's
drinking was getting out of hand earlier on in the evening so he had to be
pinned down. It took three strapping lasses, Mika,
Hiroko, and Kayoko to get the situation under control. Escape
is futile for the little one.

Robert
showing his parenting skills to Kye, who doesn't seem to impressed.

Ever
since Tom watched "The Big Lebowski" he hasn't been the
same. Get well soon Tom.
|

Martin
and I on our new couch. I came along to the party to insure that
our couch encountered no stains.

Tom's
medication.

Kyoko
and Jim enjoying peace time in Kumamoto. Jim was a Samurai in his past
life who
fought during the Shogun years. He now suffers from post dirty laundry
and holy socks disorder. All the best Jim. We're with you all the
way.

|
Nick
has been in Japan for close to 10 years and really enjoys the squat toilet.
|
|
Because
Kye was deep into the sauce earlier on in the evening Martin and Mika were
trying to distract Kye from having any more to drink.
|
|
Hiroko is
trying to sober Kye up as he was beginning to make a fool of himself but it
just wasn't working.
|
|
We had
tried to stop him from drinking too much but it was too late, he passed out quietly
in the corner and Kayoko was nice enough to put a blanked on him. I
don't think he will be invited out by our group again. He seemed so
nice before he got inebriated.

Hiroko
diving into a hardy horse that once roamed these parts.
|
|
Jim
and Tom fighting over the wine, such a sad sight. "You've had
enough," Tom winced. "No, you've had enough," Jim says
with a Samurai accent.

A
crazed picture of me eating basashi for the first time. You can't beat
raw horse meat after a few drinks.
|
|
Last
but not least, if you have bothered to scroll down this far, Lance and
Carmen. Saddened by the whole evening; we sit quietly waiting for more
basashi.
